Introduction

Narrow One replaces modern firearms with bows to make it a medieval-style game of capture the flag. Arrows take time in flight, so distance, motion of the target, and draw time is important for accuracy. The castle map introduces towers, walls, bridges, and narrow paths, providing advantageous positions for shooting and at the same time offering protection. Flag-based gameplay ensures that team coordination is necessary in Narrow One. A player may lead the scoreboard but not win if no one guards the flag carrier or prevents the enemy from taking the flag.

How to Play Narrow One

Follow the group until you get familiar with the positioning of the main flag and defense lanes. Hold the left mouse button to shoot the arrow, and release it when the target aligns itself with the predicted trajectory of the arrow. Anticipate the movement of the targets and aim higher when shooting at distant targets since the arrow requires some time to reach its target. Utilize the walls and tower to interrupt line of sight when reloading the arrow. When your teammate captures the enemy flag, focus on defense rather than chasing other irrelevant targets.

Controls

Use WASD for movement, Spacebar to jump, Shift to crouch, and number keys to switch between bows. Drag the mouse to aim, hold the left button down to pull back the bow, and release to shoot.

On touch screens, use the joystick to move around, drag to aim, and hold and then release the firing button to release the arrow.
