Introduction

In Sort the Court, the king comes with authority, but it also comes with a line of requests. The streams of visitors who will approach the throne room with their intentions to be good or bad for the kingdom. You will always be able to respond only in two ways, yes or no. Although this limitation allows you to easily see what is happening now, it is possible to see consequences of your actions far in the future. The population, gold, and happiness track the health of the kingdom and will show how well your kingdom is doing.

How to Play Sort the Court

Be sure to read all requests thoroughly and look at the kingdom totals before making decisions. A guest who asks for gold may offer a valuable return, but the same cost may be disastrous when funds already sit slow.  Be careful with your happiness, but do not agree to everything. Some characters come back and remember previous decisions, so a temporary loss may offer a stronger outcome in the future. Side quests are optional tasks that can tie up several decisions together. When a decision looks risky, assess which resource can recover quickly and which one the kingdom cannot afford to lose.

Features of Sort the Court

Yes or no decisions make the controls easy to understand but make the game complex enough. The wide variety of bizarre guests provides humor in the game. Population, money, and happiness give visual feedback on your decisions. Recurring characters make small stories that take place over several days. Side quests provide an organized challenge, and the game saves your progress for further playing on different devices.

Control

Select yes or no using the mouse, or use the keyboard keys Y and N. Mobile game players select the response provided on the screen. Take a few seconds to understand the whole question since one response can affect many kingdoms.
