Temple of Boom

Introduction

The Temple of Boom is developed by Colin Lane Games. The developer has brought together pixel art, platform gameplay, and rapid weapon switching for a fun shoot'em up action game. It has two modes. The levels in the campaign mode check your control skills, whereas the endless mode tests your survival skills. You need to choose useful weapons to get a higher score. 

How to Play Temple of Boom

Navigate through the levels and defeat all the enemies on each platform. Double jump whenever necessary to get to the next level or avoid enemy fire. Equip yourself with a new weapon to replace the one that you currently have, since you need different equipment based on the distance. A short-range weapon is better for close combat situations, whereas a long-range weapon is beneficial to maintain some distance from the enemy. Watch the floor, walls, and ledges as carefully as you watch the enemies. Temple of Boom can ruin even the best run faster than a missed shot.

Features

Temple of Boom has two key features that motivate players to play again and again. One is campaign mode, where you make progress through various temples. The other is endless mode, a high-score survival mode. Different guns provide variety, and double jumps provide an escape route. A two-player mode is also available, so players fight each other using the same keyboard. 

Controls

Use Left and Right arrows for movement, Up arrow for jumping and double jumping, and Down arrow for picking up weapons. Z  lets you shoot and X lets you switch weapons. In multiplayer, player one uses the W, A, D, S, C, and V keys. Player two uses the arrow keys, K to shoot, and L to switch weapons.
